My Cleansers

For some reason, I have never spent big money on cleansers. My theory is, stuff that remains on my skin for less than a minute is not worth splurging on. Yes, it also helps that I generally do not have sensitive skin so I could get away with most products.

Cleansers

Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser
Definitely my favourite to use at the end of the day to completely remove all traces of makeup. It cleanse my face, leaving it soft without feeling stripped. I don't know what to do without this.

Hada Labo Deep Clean & Pore Refining Face Wash (sorry, I'm unable to find a link to purchase it online)
This is my most recent purchase because it was on sale and I had a MYR5.00 voucher to use. I'm a bargain huntress, remember? This is such a brilliant cleanser! I have no idea how to explain it but my face feels so soft, smooth and refresh after using this. This cleanser contains Hyaluronic Acid which has an amazing ability to retain moisture so I know I'm doing something good for my skin with this. A little of this goes a very long way as it foams up a lot. Major love for this!

Olay Total Effects Foamin Cleanser
One of my first cleansers that I ever used and have continue to use for many years. I can't comment anything about it's anti-ageing claims however, this cleanser leaves my face baby soft! It is definitely the most gentle cleanser in my collection and it's perfect to be used in the morning when I first wake up.

Garnier Pure 3-in-1 Wash Scrub and Mask
I was planning to use this as a mask but I discovered this works amazingly as a wash and scrub for me! Yes, this product is made for combination/oily skin which are prone t breakouts but I love this. Even though I have dry skin, this product does not make it worse or irritate my skin. I find that my makeup last longer whenever I wash my face with this. It is amazing for oil control and yet, gentle enough for me to use once a day. This cleanser has Zinc for oil control, Smithsonite extract for purifying and eliminating impurities, Pumine Stone which is a natural exfoliant, White Clay for soothing and mattifying the skin and finally, Salicylic Acid which has anti-inflammatory properties and help to clear out clogged pores. Brilliant stuff and for a very low price too!

Olay Regenerist Revitalising Cream Cleanser
Frankly I have no idea how to feel about this cleanser as it does not foam as much as the others and I am so used to foam cleansers. I had this for a very long time and have yet to finish it. I find that my face can never feel clean enough if I don't use my Olay Pro-X to wash this off. It felt like there a film of residue still on my face, definitely a strange and slightly unpleasant feeling for me. I don't hate this but neither do I like it. I don't know, just not sure what to think of this product.

So there you go, those are the cleansers that I am currently using and yes, all of it are drugstore products. Again, I never see the need to splurge on cleansers but I might be wrong about that.

What about you? Do you splurge on cleansers and do share about your favourites too!

    1. LOL! I like choices, Renard. Unfortunately I am pretty fickle with my beauty stuff.

    2. I would be hopeless if living as a woman. There seem to be so many beauty products to choose from and the process of applying them is so complicated that I wouldn't know where to start.

What I would need, is a "Beauty Products for Dummies" book (or blog posting)....
