THE TINTED MOISTURISER THAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: GRAYDON FACE GLOW

I have a confession to make, it's been more than a year since I last bought a foundation for myself. Yes, seriously. There have been a few new launches that caught my attention but none that held it long enough or made me yearn it enough to warrant a purchase.

My makeup style has changed, well, I have changed. I've finally accepted the fact that I will never recreate the Instagram/YouTube makeup trend; I don't have the skills for it and I look weird AF when I try. Most importantly, I don't want to change the way I look...I just want to look like a better version of ME.

For the past year, my base has been either tinted moisturizer, BB/ CC Creams or just a touch of concealer under my eyes and around my nose. I'm lucky to have good skin so why would I want to cover that?

Graydon Face Glow (US$43.00/40mL) is my newest addition to my ever-growing Graydon family and if you have been following me for at least the past 7 months, then you know my undying love for the brand. Face Glow is supposed to be an all-in-one product; primer, tinted moisturizer or it can be used as a highlighter. It's infused with Smithsonite, a semi-precious gemstone that belongs to the calcite group of crystals, known for their ability to protect the dermis against UVB.

Spirulina Maxima Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, *Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, *Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, *Glyceryl Stearate, *Coco-Caprylate, *Sodium Olivoyl Glutamate, *Cetearyl Alcohol, *Cetyl Alcohol, *Stearyl Alcohol, Zinc Oxide, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, *Lauryl Glucoside, *Polyglyceryl-2 Dipolyhydroxystearate, Glycerin, Mica (and) Iron Oxides, **Phenethyl Alcohol, **Pentylene Glycol, **Propanediol, Smithsonite Extract, Titanium Dioxide, Prunus Avium (Sweet Cherry) Seed Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Oil, Cucurbita Pepo (Pumpkin) Seed Oil, Mauritia Flexuosa Fruit Oil, Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Seed Oil, Hippophae Rhamnoides Seed Oil, Xanthan Gum, Triethyl Citrate, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Extract, Ananas Sativus (Pineapple) Fruit Extract, Coffea Arabica (Coffee) Leaf/Seed Extract, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Fruit Extract, Jasminum Officinale (Jasmine) Flower/Leaf Extract, Musa Sapientum (Banana) Fruit Extract, Cucumis Melo Cantalupensis Fruit Extract, Cinnamomum Zeylanicum Bark Extract, Vanilla Planifolia Fruit Extract, Limonene, Linalool, Citral

*Vegetable wax, **100% Natural based preservative

As always, Graydon doesn't disappoint with its ingredient list and this is also the first product I've seen using Spirulina extract as the first ingredient. I used to take Spirulina supplement and it actually healed my eczema. This tinted moisturizer is rich with antioxidants and plant/botanical extracts which helps to hydrate, protect and nourish the skin.

The texture is a thicker lotion which initially worries me but it melts like butter into the skin without leaving any residue or tackiness. I don't think it gives any coverage but it evens out my skin tone beautifully. It leaves a natural and glowy finish which I love and I get compliments how healthy my skin looks whenever I wear this. I don't have any issues with pilling and it wears very well over my skincare regardless of cream, lotion or oil. I do look a little shiny around my t-zone at the end of the day but a good mattifying primer and powder minimize it.

It's no secret that I thoroughly enjoy and love all Graydon products that I have tried so far and Face Glow is another winner from the brand. If you are not a fan of foundation and am looking for amazing skincare and makeup hybrid that evens out your skin tone then I recommend checking out Face Glow. Seriously, you can't go wrong with it.

*Gifted but my thoughts and opinions are 100% unbiased, honest and my own. There is no place for any sort of BS here.
