HELLO SUMMER WITH FARLEYCO 'SPRING TO SUMMER' BEAUTY BOX

I was torn in between starting this post with Hello June or How the hell is it mid-June already?!. I know I say this a lot, way too much to be honest but it feels like this year is slipping through my fingers and I don't have enough time in the world to do what I need to do.

I've always loved the transition from Spring to Summer, the weather is perfect; sunny but not too warm and I can even leave the house without a coat. On the beauty department, Farleyco has me covered with their selections of products; a lip balm to nourish my chapped lips, a mud mask and many more!

GET ON MASKING!

By now you guys know my love for face masks and while the opportunities for me to pamper myself are few and far between these days, I jump at it every time I have a day off. Recently I have been enjoying a few mud masks and one of my newest discoveries is by 7th Heaven. This brand has a huge variety of masks and the best part is they are all very budget-friendly. The new Dead Sea Mud Pack* is meant for oily to combination skin but my dry/normal skin has no problem using it once a week. This mask leaves my skin feeling baby smooth and soft and I will be repurchasing soon.

If you are familiar with mud masks then you know what a pain in the arse some can be to remove. They dry down tight and crusty and you feel like you are scrubbing your skin off trying to remove them. Ecotools recently launched Facial Mask Mates* which consists of a mask applicator and three sponges. I have always been a fan of Ecotools and this is another brilliant launch from them! The brush is wonderful at applying an even layer all over my face and the sponge cleans the mask easily too. If you love mud masking then you NEED this!

PUCKER UP

I usually know Summer has fully arrived when my lips start cracking like the Sahara desert. It doesn't matter how much water I drink or what lip balm I use, my lips will start peeling. I was lucky to receive Purple Tree Aloe Miracle Balm* which reminds me of cult favourite Dr. PawPaw balm. I have never tried the latter but I can attest that this aloe balm is heaven scent. It has a very short ingredient list but if you're not a fan of mineral oils then this is not for you. The texture is thick, hydrating and very nourishing on the lips and I love it as an overnight lips treatment. It's also a multi-purpose balm that can be used as cuticle and nail treatment.

Next up we have Sealed Lips by Modèle* and as you guys might have guessed by the name, it's a lipstick sealer which promises to seal, protect and prolong lipstick wear up to 8 hours. It also claims to prevent feathering, bleeding and is kiss, wine and food proof. I know some of you are curious if this delivers on all the claims....well, yes and no. It does stop the lipstick from feathering and minimizes transfer but my lips feel a touch dry after 6 hours. I also like to remove my lipstick after food and this makes the process harder. I think this is great for a night out but for day to day use, it's a pass for me.

FLICKER YOUR LASHES

Last but not least, I have these gorgeous falsies by MesmorEyes*. The unique thing about this brand is they have lashes suited for your eye shape. Honestly I am pretty clueless about my eyes but I took a chance and requested a box meant for almond shape eyes and so far, they fit really well. Each box comes with three pairs of lashes; Day, Play and Night. You basically have something for every occasion. I will post a look on my Instagram wearing the lashes soon so look out for it!

Are you familiar with any of these brands and products? What are your favourite Summer beauty products?

*Products marked with * were received for free but my thoughts and opinions are 100% unbiased, honest and my own. There is no place for any sort of BS here.
