Let Your Skin Stay Summer Fresh with Dr. Hauschka

This is the last post from my box of goodies from Dr. Hauschka and I am slowly revealing my favourites from this brand. It has been a fabulous journey of product discoveries and I have definitely learned little bits and bobs along the way.

While it is extremely rare and controversial to love every product from a brand especially when one is kindly sent the said products, this has been the case between me and Dr. Hauschka. I want to be bitchy and long time readers would know how much I love to sink in my nails, claw and tear a product and brand apart, it has been impossible to do any of that with Dr. H.

See, I love the brand so much that we're even on first name basis now...I call him H, Dr. H.

Dr. Hauschka Limited Edition

Dr. Hauschka Facial Toner Limited Edition* CAD14.00 comes in a handy, travel friendly 30mL and as you can see it's a spray on toner housed in a glass bottle. Now I don't know about you but I am old school and love using my toner with cotton pad so I initially frowned upon the packaging. I sprayed once and with my luck, some of it went into my eyes and I cursed every living being that ever walked the planet, myself included. This was safely tucked away at the back of the drawer for weeks...until the heatwave hit, hard.

I reached out for this little bottle again and this time, closed my eyes tight and sprayed. The rest is history.

Everything about this toner screams fresh; the scent, the mist and the feeling it left on my skin after. The spray is a perfect light mist and I need two sprays for both face and neck. It instantly refreshes the skin and unlike many other toners that I have tried, my skin doesn't feel dry. I have been using this toner strictly at night and followed by Dr. Hauschka Night Serum (reviewed here) and I swear I wake up to fresh and glowing skin. I will be purchasing the full size once this bottle runs out.

Dr. Hauschka

Dr. Hauschka Eye Revive* CAD36.00 comes in a box of 10 single 5mL ampoules and I was kindly sent two to try. It is suggested to store this ampoules in the fridge for a more refreshing experience. To use, simply divide a cotton pad into two, use one whole ampoule to soak both pads and place it over the eyes for 10 minutes. I personally find one ampoule is way too much for one usage so I store the remaindering in a clean plastic container and used up the rest over two days.

This has been heaven sent especially on days when I had little sleep the night before. It instantly soothes and refreshes my eye areas and frankly, I want to lay forever with the cotton pads on my eyes. But that's not the best part about this eye treatment, oh no sirrr...the best part is this soothes my eyes when my allergies strike. Oh yes, when Summer (bitch!) arrived I discovered that I had allergies that I never knew I had. Few months back I broke out in hives and it took me more than a week to recover and most recently, my eyes puffed up, looked irritated and very red. Eye Revive* was a saving grace and actually helped to calm the allergy down. It didn't cure it but it helped to soothe my eye areas.

It is safe to say that I am a convert. Somehow, some way in this crazy twisted universe Dr. Hauschka managed to tame and change me into a purring cat....and I dislike cats.
