What I've Been Loving in March

March, can you believe we're already in March? How time has flown. I swear by the time you hit the big 3-0, time is no longer on your side. Tick tock, tick tock and with the next blink of an eye, you have a full head of grey hair, wrinkles right down your neck, a pair of knockers sagged down to your knees and you're blowing out 70 candles on your birthday cake.

It's a bloody beautiful life indeed...

I missed both January and February favourites, tsk! tsk! I'm such a naughty blogger. So today's post is all about what I have been loving in the month of March. It's slightly different though, it's a mixture of all sorts of stuff and not purely beauty products.

BEAUTY

It's all about the base in March and the two foundations that I have been reaching for most are Annabelle Skintrue Natural Lightweight Makeup (reviewed here) and Rimmel Wake Me Up. Light, natural looking bases are like magnets to me, how can one not love a 'my skin but better' look?

And since Spring is in the air, I have been head over heels in love with Maybelline Color Sensational Coral Crush. It's all about the brighter, merrier lips y'all!

On skincare, I am still as obsessed as I was when I first reviewed Coffee + Coconut Jealous Body Scrub* (reviewed here) and Rodial Stemcell Super-Food Facial Oil (reviewed here). Both are permanent staples in my skincare and have been a saviour to keep those pesky dry patches at minimum.

FOOD

I was introduced to Dad's Cookies by my dearest MIL sometime last month and I haven't been able to put them down since. What happened was we made a grocery trip to Costco and this big-ass, bad boy looking box came home with us. Cookies dipped in my morning coffee...heaven.

Hence my very recent 1kg weight gain, it all went to my soon expanding ass.

WHAT THE HOUSE OF PLATT IS WATCHING

Ohh, be still my heart. We watched the trailer for this show by chance and thought it was a new series but we later found out it was already in Season 2. Yes, we started watching from Season 2 and we can't get enough of it! This show has me gripping at the edge of my seat and I can't wait to find out what happens next. I am not going to spoil it for anyone but you get virus, apocalypse and time travel...what is there not to like?
EDIT: Just found out it's still in Season 1 and we must have caught it after the first break! That means we only need to catch up on the first few episodes. YAY!

This show showcases the struggles of all different types of addicts and their loved ones. You'll see the day to day life of alcoholics, druggies and the pain their loved ones go through. In the end there will be an intervention which gives the addict an ultimatum; go rehab or risk losing everything, usually all loved ones will cut contact.

This show is NOT for everyone, it's very hard to watch and you will feel almost depressed after watching it but it's a huge eye opener. We all know that life is not a bed of roses but you see it for real in Intervention.
