My Best of 2014 Roundup!

I still can't believe that today is the last day of 2014, where has the time gone? I know I am at risk of sounding like a broken record but I can't believe how fast time flies and tonight we'll be ringing in 2015. As this post goes live, I think some part of the world is already preparing to welcome the New Year...wow, just wow.

This post is a different twist from my usual 'Monthly Favourites', I thought I would share my best moments of 2014. Don't be fooled by thinking my year has been perfect but I refuse to ring in the New Year with the negatives. So here goes, few of my best of 2014 moments!

First 3D scan of little tyke

Me at 36 weeks and 2 days

And here comes little tyke into the world.
He was a rather large baby, weighing in at 4.11kg.

The Canadian mountains greet me

Finally meeting all of hubby dearest's immediate family

Moving into our new home.
Hubby dearest was so 'thrilled' with the mess that he did a weird jiggle.

First Christmas with family

My first traditional Christmas with a roast turkey!

Little tyke's first Christmas

My makeup skills got a wee bit better.
I no longer look like a drag queen with a full face makeup.

My personal favourites of 2014

I have loads of favourites and it took me a long time to narrow it down to these few. There aren't too many makeup because I spend half of the year couldn't be arse about it. Makeup and I weren't the best of friends throughout my pregnancy. Believe it or not, I felt applying makeup was such a cumbersome process and I almost hated it. Shocking, I know.

Apologies for not listing every item down but I am hoping you can see the products through the picture. If you do want me to list it down or have any questions about any of the product then let me know in the comment section, I read each and every one of your comments! xx

Now to the biggest question every time we hit a new year...What's your New Year resolution?

Frankly, I have never been someone who makes resolutions. The only one time I made a resolution was back in year 2010, when I promised myself that I would quit smoking. I personally think one doesn't need a list of New Year resolutions, if you want to do something then set your mind to it and get going. That has always been the way for me but I know having a New Year resolution is extremely helpful to many so I sincerely respect it. Come to think about it...I will try to drink more water and less soda in 2015. I am a Pepsi addict, gawd I love that crap.

I will end this post by wishing all of you a very Happy New Year and may your 2015 be much better than 2014. Hugs with much love and happiness from the House of Platt.

p/s: Before I forget, if you have a new year resolution then I hope you share in the comment section. I would love to read about it!
