Recently I was contacted by Firmoo, an online optical store who asked if I am interested in trying one of their glasses for free. The opportunity came at the right time because I lost my latest pair of glasses right before departing Malaysia and I have been squinting in order to see clearer for the past 3 months.
If you wear glasses then you will understand how expensive the frames are but the good news is, Firmoo offers a wide range of frames and sunglasses for a very affordable price. To place an order is extremely easy. All you have to do is choose your desired frame, choose your lens, key in your prescription (if you have one), checkout and pay, that's it. I placed my order on 9th December, it was shipped on 12th and it arrived on my doorstep on the 17th December, unbelievably quick.
I will be upfront and tell you that these glasses are made and shipped from China so initially I have zero confidence in the quality. Sorry China, I love the country but let's be honest, quality is usually not your strongest forte. I was pleasantly surprised that the pair of glasses not only fit me really well but it's also very sturdy and well made. The right nose pad did fall off on the third day but I discovered the screw was faulty. It's a good thing that Firmoo included a couple of screws and a pair of nose pad with the glasses so I managed to fix the problem and now the glasses are perfect. Overall, I am very pleased with my glasses and have no complaints about it.
Sorry for my almost bare face but this is how I usually look at home.
Eyeliner, mascara, lipstick and nothing else, no, not even foundation.
Firmoo has a Renewed Free First Pair program which offers new customers a free pair of glasses to try. You can learn more about it by clicking the link here. If you are unsure about the quality and wish to try something from them first then this is a great opportunity.
Now for a good news, Firmoo has offered five of my readers a $15 vouchers with the code REFLECTIONSANITYBLOGS4 from their Classic Series. Check it out here. You will discover that $15 is almost half off for some of the frames. This voucher can't be applied to discount frames and will expire on 17th January 2015.

p/s: Can you believe Christmas is just a few days away? This will be my last post for this week and I will be taking the rest of the week off. This mama needs some fun, relaxation (read: pigging out on the dinner table) and good old family quality time. So I am taking this opportunity to wish everyone Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Many hugs and much love from the House of Platt to all of you.
